Who We Are

Located in Medina, New York, ClearSource is a locally owned company dedicated to producing high-proof alcohol using a natural fermentation process. We are committed to supporting our local community and protecting the environment.

We are an extension of Western New York Energy, the largest fuel ethanol producer in New York, producing clean, renewable, and domestic energy. As a top-tier industry leader, our team has experience in corn-to-alcohol conversion and producing high-quality co-products.

Western New York Energy is a locally owned company founded in 2004 with the objective of developing the full potential of Western New York’s renewable energy resources while utilizing best practices and the highest ethical standards to work with our community and business partners.

Purchasing more than 20 million bushels of corn each year, we are the largest buyer of corn in all of New York. We work in partnership with local farmers, helping local businesses and supporting local jobs and the overall economy in Western New York. Our facility provides a valuable corn market and gets trucks in and out quickly and efficiently. Our high-volume location is capable of unloading well over 100 trucks per day.

Our success directly reflects the highly qualified, hard-working people working at our facility. We employ over 60 residents from our local communities.
